We have been studying the use of adjectives in order to describe physical appearance and personality. Next week we will put this knowledge to work as we create and practice our Bolsa Cafe projects. Students are asked to bring props in a decorated brown bag that they will use to present themselves as well as someone or something else to the class. The purpose of the bag and the props is to provide prompts in order to remember what they are going to say. The Bolsa Cafe rubric shows what is expected and how they will be evaluated. The projects will be written next week, practiced in class and at home and presented beginning November 18 and ending November 21.
Students will also be tested on Unidad 1 Leccion 2 on November 13.

Stuents have been practicing the use of the conditional tense in order to talk about what would happen in the future if and when something else happened. We created some excellent and creative excuses for not doing chores in class which students will be practicing at home next week.
Our next project will be the creation and presentation of a dialogue in which students discuss environmental and social issues while providing reasons for being able to, or not being able to achieve stated goals. The rubric for this project will be posted on this blog on November 11.
