The first week of school was indeed a hot one.
Hizo calor no?

We passed the first four days learning about some of our favorite animals, where they live, what they eat, what they do and also what they do not do.

Our TPR activities allowed students to become climbing monkeys, reaching giraffes, hunting tigers tortugas que nadan y mucho mas.

Students will bring their single subject notebook on monday and we will begin our daily routine of doing warm ups at the beginning of class while maintaining their cuaderno in a way that allows them to use it effectively in class and at home while working on projects.

The students' first project will be a  Libro Abecedario in which they create a themed ABC book.  The amount of language used will vary depending on class level, with our 5-6 class using a great deal more Spanish than those in 1-2.
