Spanish 2

We took the Unidad 3 Leccion 1 examen last week and will be reviewing it later this week.
Students should look for information on Jarabe de Palo, a Spanish group we will be listening to on Wednesday.  Students should bring information about the group to class on Wednesday.  Think of the interrogatives when gathering information ... quien, donde, cuando, cuanto, como, que, cual and porque.
The study of the song will involve using the Spanish/English dictionaries to define Spanish words in English as well as to translate new words from English to Spanish.  The final product will be a found poem created using the text from the song.
Looking forward to our study of Jarabe de Palo!

Spanish 6

Students have completed their Spanish television commercials using formal, informal and negative commands.
This coming week we will begin studying and using the subjunctive tense which is used to express opinion, doubt, importance and hope.
Students should bring information to class on Wednesday regarding the Mexican group Molotov.
We will be listening to a number of songs and studying the areas of Mexican culture and politics the lyrics address.
